Cucut

Legal notice

Version 1.1. Effective date: 11 September 2026.

This page is deliberately thin: it identifies who is behind cucut.app, says what this site is and who owns what is on it. All the detail lives in the big documents, and this page only points at them.

1. Who owns this website

  • Owner: Joan Cama Ribot
  • Trading name: Somia Digital
  • Tax ID (NIF): 41531670H
  • Address: Carrer de Sant Joan, 16, 17200 Palafrugell (Girona), Spain
  • Contact email: hola@somiadigital.com

Hereinafter "Somia Digital", "we" or "the owner".

This information is provided in compliance with Article 10 of Spanish Act 34/2002 of 11 July on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE).

The details in this clause are exactly the same as those in clause 1 of the Terms and clause 1 of the Privacy policy. If they change, they change in all three documents at once.

2. What this website is

cucut.app is the site of Cucut, an iPhone alarm clock that is only stopped by completing missions and that pays out screen minutes. The site explains what the app does and publishes its legal documents.

Nothing is sold here, nobody registers here and no account is opened here. Cucut is downloaded from Apple's App Store, and everything the app does it does on the device of whoever has it installed.

There is a second host under the same domain, updates.cucut.app, which is not a web page: it is the app's update server, which answers technical questions from the program and serves content to nobody. This legal notice covers both.

3. What your browser stores here

Nothing. This site is static HTML: it sets no cookies, loads no third-party scripts, embeds no external fonts and does no tracking. That is why you will find no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

The one exception is the support form, which sends nothing unless you fill it in: you enter your email and your message, and the provider that hosts the site receives it. What happens to it, how long it is kept and on what legal basis is set out in the support-form section of the Privacy policy.

The provider that serves the pages (Netlify) records technical access data in order to run and protect the service, in the same way any web server does.

4. Intellectual property in this site

The texts, images, illustrations, design, code and any other element of this website belong to Somia Digital or its licensors, and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law. Cucut, its mascot and Somia Digital are distinctive signs of the owner.

What you may do without asking us: link to this site, and quote extracts for informational or teaching purposes citing the source, under Article 32 of the Spanish consolidated Intellectual Property Act.

What needs our authorisation: reproducing, distributing, publicly communicating or transforming this content for any other purpose, especially a commercial one.

5. Where everything is

This page replaces none of the following documents and does not summarise them:

  • Terms of use of Cucut, subscription, liability and complaints → Terms and conditions, at cucut.app/terms/.
  • What data we process, why, for how long and what rights you have → Privacy policy, at cucut.app/privacy/.
  • How to contact uscucut.app/#support.

6. Liability for this website

This site is informational. We try to keep what it says accurate and up to date, and we may modify, suspend or withdraw it whenever necessary and without prior notice.

Links leading away from here — to the App Store and to any other third-party page — are not ours: we control neither their content nor their practices, and linking to them does not mean we endorse them.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of this site, from its unavailability, or from errors or omissions in its content. Liability regarding the Cucut app is governed by clause 10 of the Terms and conditions, which is where it is written out in full and with all its limits.

7. Governing law and contact

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer resident in another European Union member state, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of your country.

For any question, write to us at hola@somiadigital.com. Consumer complaint channels are set out in clause 16 of the Terms and conditions.

This notice is published in Catalan, Spanish and English; the Catalan version is the master one.
